Mauro Franceschi (b. 1960) is a guitarist and composer from Bolzano, Italy. He has performed in various chamber ensembles as well as with orchestra. He has composed incidental music for the theater,  film's soundtracks, radio jingles, sound installations for exhibitions, and many works for various instrumental combinations. In 1997 he recorded the CD "Mauro Franceschi Band" and in 2000 he began touring his "Classical contemporary electric guitar" project, which he performed in Italy, Germany and Argentina, where he also conducted masterclasses. This project was recorded in 2002 by ARX Collana. The CD "Electric guitar solo" is on distribution by Materiali Sonori. In 2005 he recorded "Quinte", incidental music for theater and other media by Mauro Franceschi. He has recorded for the Italian television and broadcast network RAI3, Radio RAI international, and for Radio Clasica Argentina as a performer and composer.
