This is the owner's family: Heidi, high school teacher, Winfried , engineer, daughters Verena and Bettina both schoolgirls. We are all non smokers and therefore we prefer non smoking guests. We are native German speakers and our second language is Italian. As you might know South Tirol was Austrian until 1918. |

In Bozen (Bolzano) you can visit the famous fruit market and the old town or the archaeological museum with the 5000 year old mummy named "Iceman". There is a little airport with daily connections to Rome. Coming by train or bus you have to change in Bozen/Bolzano or Brixen/ Bressanone. Leave the highway at Bolzano Nord and drive by car in direction of Seis/Siusi where you can take the new skyway with a wonderful outlook. |

We use our own water and we produce electricity with solar energy for the light and some electric appliances like the hair drier. But there is not enough energy for a washing machine or dish washer. We cook on a fire hearth and we heat the water for the shower with wood fire which gives a very natural atmosphere. For a quick cooking we use a camping gas cooker and if you want there is a gas operated fridge, but our storage room is very cool. |

In the summertime we often have lunch on our porch overlooking the garden. We enjoy the deep quietness reading books, listening to music or playing together one of the many games (monopoly, canasta, chess...). There is a wooden cottage nearby that belongs to my brother and a stable where we store the hay from our meadows. |

It was a wonderful wintertime with a lot of snow and we are looking forward to the warm season. |
